The Pyramids

Chris: I will start this post by saying the quiet part out loud, Egypt is a weird ugly place. To us anyway. It certainly is unique to any thing we have ever seen before and good lord the history, that part is fascinating. We have learned things that I will certainly look farther in to when we get home. Professor Google knows quite a bit about Egypt. But what we have seen is often dirty, littered with trash and covered by cigarette butts. Egypt smells like cigarette smoke.

Some of the historic sites we have been to here are beautiful but they too are littered and covered in cigarette butts and it is such a shame because these places are so very significant, not only to the history of Egypt but to the history of humanity itself. But one thing Egypt has going for it ? The Pyramids

Rhonda: We brought our Brooke's Brigade tshirts from the ovarian cancer walk from a couple of weeks ago. We told Sam ( and everyone we came across about Brooke and asked for Muslim prayers, Coptic Christian prayers, Jewish prayers, and Pagan prayers to any god or idol that can help ) and he planned very good photo sites for us to represent our love for Brooke and Brandy. We wore the shirts with love and pride.

Sphinx.

Rhonda: We got back to the airport a little early so we had about 3 1/2 hours to wait for our flight to Aswan. As per usual, we found a spot and played Rummy Cube and had a good time . It was a short flight but we were ready to get there.

Love y'all.
