We had such a lovely day. It was about 84 and sunny. We took a hop on hop off bus all day to see sights we did not see on our 2020 trip. The city is full of flowers at every turn. We wound up at Bondi beach for the afternoon but because we didn't get a hotel room this morning neither of us had swimsuits or sandals to play in the water.
We made up for it in a beach sidewalk bar with mojitos and French fries. Just people watching and looking at the stunning beach line.
We made our way back to the the Circular Quay, by our hotel , and planted ourselves at a sidewalk restaurant for oysters and garlic prawns and a bowl of olives with herbs and a bottle or two of Pinot Grigio. We were right on the path to the symphony hall so it was prime people watching . It ranged from boys with fishing poles to ladies in formal wear.
Meantime, we were 34 hours into the same clothes, sticky and grimy , but content with our day and just relaxed and watched all of the ships come and go and a cruise ship depart and the sun go down . Hence zero photos of us today.
We grabbed a bottle of wine and some pop for the room and finally got checked in at 730pm. It's 935pm here and we are zonked. I think that means it is 435am at home. lol. Not sure now. But we are in bed with feet up on pillows. We both have big swollen feet and ankles . We will be fine tomorrow!
Night y'all , Tomorrow we have an opera house tour and a pianist in the grand room. And a trip to the Baxter Inn for drinks. We can't wait!
Love Y'all
I bet yall were ready for a shower & fresh panties! The sights & food sound amazing🤩
